We have looked at Context, Clusters, Congruence and Consistency. We are going to give Culture a little more space:
Culture – Think first about how stressed the person is as the more under pressure that they are, the more likely cultural specific ques may before evident. For example, someone from the military may shift their position from a relaxed stance when they are discussing something in their civilian life to straightening straighten their back when they change the subject to something from their military past. In India when saying yes and shaking their head from side to side it may be confusing for someone from another culture, if the would nod to agree.
